The English Mystery Plays will be performed at Monk Bretton Priory, Abbey Lane, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S71 5QD
From the M1 motorway:
Leave at Junction 37 and follow the signs for Barnsley Town Centre (A628). At traffic lights turn right and follow signs A635 Doncaster. Carry straight on at traffic lights by St Edwards Church and straight on at traffic lights at crossroads (still signed A635 Doncaster). Continue straight forward until you reach large roundabout and take the first exit - signposted A633. Monk Bretton Priory is on the right hand side of the road, opposite The Mill of The Black Monks. There is car parking on site.
By public transport:
Barnsley Interchange is approximately 2 ½ miles from Monk Bretton Priory. Trains from Sheffield, Leeds and Huddersfield stop at Barnsley and the bus station is adjacent to the train station. Taxis are available from outside the Interchange.
